Northwest Museum of arts and culture

The MAC museum reached out to wanting to create a series of videos highlighting their Joe Feddersen Exhibit. We worked together on creating a schedule and look that would be represent the emotion of his work. After that we took off for a three-day adventure across the state of Washington capturing B-roll and interviews with Joe. They are currently on display in the MAC museum Joe Fedderesen exhibit.

  • Synopsis

    In precolonial America, Qemtsna and Xwstu are a young married Native American couple. They're life is full of love and fulfillment until one day they discover a mysterious stone. Unknown to them, this stone yields ill intention. While Xwstu aims to wield the power of the stone, Qemtsna is more skeptical of its nature and the future of their unborn child. They both realize that the balance of life can be quickly tipped in the wrong direction.

  • Tanajsia Slaughter as Qemtsna

    Tanajsia (TaeTae) is an actress, writer, and singer/artist based in Florida. She comes from a diverse background and has been able to connect with people from various tribes and nations. She spent most of her life living in Montana where she became the first Miss Montana for America in 2019. Her latest project was working on the film, "The Last Son", starring Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Thomas Jane in a small speaking role alongside Sam Worthington. Her other movies include, Custer's Strategy of Defeat and The BlackWood Movie by Chris Canfield. Currently, Tanajsia is attending University of Arizona online as a Communication major and is
    working to make progress for underrepresented peoples in the world of Arts and Entertainment.

    Shane is of Lakota Sioux descendant. Hunkpapa, Oglala & Sicangu. You might have saw him recently in the feature film, Peace River as a Lakota Special Operator in Iraq. Dude can ride horses, hunt with a bow, writing his own book—won 6 gold medals in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
